Geno Smith has regressed and this is simply a terrible matchup vs the best defense in the NFL this year . Double digit favorites are 11-3. ATS since 2010.  If you can get -9 thats a 1 star play. It's supposed to be rainy and windy so also leaning under. Elijah Mitchell is back for the 49ers and Kyle Shanahan will have a great gameplan to protect rookie QB Purdy.  Expect a 49ers lead and a lot of running.  Hedgie prefers

In Week 3 the Jags trounced the Chargers 38-10 but don't put too much emphasis on that game as QB Herbert was playing with severely bruised ribs.  The Jags have a coaching edge with Pederson. HC Staley played a lot of starters last week in Denver in a meaningless game and it cost them WR Mike Williams who will be OUT with a back injury.   The Chargers also must travel across the country on one day less rest.  Hedgie leans Jags and over here BUT prefers a TEASER on the home dog and two coaches who will take chances with their star QBs at the helm.
