Gardiner Minchew is now the starting QB for the Jacksonville Jaguars since Starter Nick Foles got hurt. He's played pretty well in relief and almost pulled off a shocking upset in Houston last week losing 12-13. In the futures market this summer Vegas had the Jags as -3.5 point favorites. The line is now Titans -1.5. Theirs a lot of excitement in Jacksonville surrounding Minchew but the reality is that the Jags are struggling. Minchew is starting his 2nd game in the NFL and his first game at home on a short week to prepare. Their star defender Jalen Ramsey is acting like a diva and wants to be traded now that the team has started 0-2.
The Titans on the other hand are 1-1 and feel like they let a home game slip away to the Colts last week. All signs point to a low scoring defensive divisional battle as the total was set low at 40 and has dropped to 38.
The Hedgie thinks the right play here is the Titans to win the game outright with no spread. They have a good defense and solid team chemistry. The Jags on the other hand seem about to implode....
