Hedgie Thursday NIght thoughts....

Jags look like they have mailed it in and the colts are surging ....but the Jags do not like the Colts and the money is coming in on the Jags. the line is now Colts - 5.5 ...... PASS

MORE IMPORTANTLY, the Saints have decided to shut Reggie Bush down for the season as their playoff aspirations are gonzo. The lions will be starting Orlovsky and have been fighting hard every week to get their first win of the season.

The line is still Saints -7 in most spots....Grab the LIONS +7 for 2 stars while you can still get it

NFL MONDAY

after sweeping yet another card this past sunday we'll try to add to the pile monday night....originally hedgie was staying away from this line as the eags were favored by 13.5 or 14. double digit dogs were on fire early in the season going 17-2 heading into thanksgiving but they have since cooled off going 1-6. but the betting public sees the browns as given up. they are out of the playoffs and down to their 3rd string QB , Dorsey. They look pathetic vs the Titans last week while the eags appear to be surging. So the line has jumped to 15.5 and is going higher. The hedgie knows one thing: NFL PLAYERS GIVE IT THEIR ALL ON NATIONAL TV. The Browns have posted 2 solid efforts vs Giants and BIlls on Monday Night and will come out with Max effort tonight. Hedgie expects to see a lil wildcat tonight from Josh Cribbs

Dorsey has a weak arm but he diagnoses blitzes and can pick up a hot read. The eags should eventually pull away. SO the true Value here comes in the first half as the Browns are getting +9.5.

Tonight is senior night for the Rajun Cajuns and both teams become bowl eligible with a win. Hedgie has been watching the line creep up to 58 1/2 as most bettors expect a high scoring affair based on the last two games. But the hedgie suspects the Rajun Cajuns will ride their potent running attack and try to make history with 2 1000 yard rushers this eve. Middle Tennessee State will be ready and thus the clock will also be RUNNING..... 58 1/2 too high

first of all , what's wrong with this pic ? did anyone notice this last night? opening drive by the Texans about 3 minutes into the game Andre Johnson catches a 15 yard dig and races to beat the defender to the pylon. WHOOPS ! who's in charge of setting up the pylons? ha

secondly, a special thanks to the few contributors to SEEDS last week. The Academy raised $200 and that money will be well spent with school under way. Speaking of SEEDS , if you like college hoops one of the SEED kids , Assane Sene 7'0" 235lb true freshman should get a few minutes tonight when Virginia plays Minnesota on ESPN2 at 9:30pm tonight

If you plan on watching the game at a restaurant tonight be careful if you go to APPLEBEES ! Apparently this guy , Harris Smith, was shot at an Applebees in Manhattan Friday night !

(or at least that's what Plaxico Buress told Cornell Medical Hospital at 1:30am)

HEDGIE MONDAY

after spilling gravy thursday night while watching anquan boldin drop turkeys all over the field, the hedgie made a strong comeback going 2-0 Saturday and 3-1 Sunday. Enjoy the 3 star Vikings video link of Gus frerotte hitting Bernard Berrian for a 99 yarder....



Tonight hedgie has no play although a lean towards the Texans on their first ever monday night home game. The 'over' has gone 12-1 the last 13 monday nighters but that number at 48 is a tad high for he hedgie to play....
