Hedgie's 6-4 start and a couple tough misses fizzled into a Thursday 6-7 record....Today is  NEW DAY OF MADNESS !

1:30  Wichita St / Marshall  -  MARSHALL + 12  4 stars   - Wich St  has to travel  1363 Miles to San Diego .  MArshall has an explosive offense  ave 84.3 ppg  and a good post man in 6'9"  Penava.  The Herd has a shot here   (maybe consider over 166 too)

2:45  Lipscomb/  UNC  -  OVER 162    4 stars  -  Lipscomb plays one of the fastest paces in the country  and the Tar Heels will happily oblige....this line is already up from  159  so get on it quickly


3:10  Arkansas / Butler  - ARKANSAS +1.5  3 stars the SEC had a strong showing yesterday  going 4-0.  Today  the wrong team is favored.  Arkansas has gone  7-3-1  ATS  last 11 including beating Florida on a neutral court  .  (Florida looked good last night)

4:30pm  Texas / Nevada  - TEXAS  -1  2 stars    Nevada limping down the stretch of the season and Texas has a nasty  top 10  defense

7:10 pm  Michigan St  / Bucknell  -  Mich st -14.5  1 star    - Patriot league was weak . Izzo always has his teams ready 

7:25pm  Auburn / Col Charleston  - Charleston + 9   this line opened at 10.5 and is being bet down.  Auburn started the season 21-2 then lost it's top big man and has since gone  2-4. Charlestonon the other hand has won 14 of its last 15 and comes into this game with confidence.  

9:40  Syracuse/ TCU - Cuse 1 star  +4.5  .   TCU must adjust quickly to a matchup zone its never faced. Cuse playing well and always a hard out in march 

9:55pm  Clemson/New Mex st - Clemson -4.5  2 stars   - both team splaying well. More of a hunch that Clemsons  strength of schedule MUCH stronger

Thursday's Games :

12:15    Oklahoma / Rhode Island  -  OKLAHOMA +2.5  3 stars   -  the Sooners have been criticized hard for just making the tourney.  Their season ended poorly but Hedgie sees  Trey Young leading this team to an inspired win today    

12:40 Wright State / Tennessee  - UNDER 131.5  2 stars  -  The Vols  play  tough physical gritty D  and are  4-1 under their past 5

1:30  NC Greensboro / Gonzaga-  UNDER 136  2 stars   UNCG  +12.5  1 star ...both teams focus on defense  as the zags allow only 67 ppg.  greensboro knows only way to win is a slow paced game . they  have a great bigman in James Dickey and should keep this game in single digits

2:00  UPenn / Kansas  - UPenn +14   1 star    (dont trust Kansas to blow out)

2:45  Iona / Duke  - OVER 157    4 stars....Iona gives up  76  ppg . This a a game duke gets healthy with the 3 ball

3:10 Loyola Chi / Miami  - Miami  -1  2  stars  -  the SEXY pick here is Loyola Chi.  But  the U has a better coach and has played a much tougher schedule.  nice  line value here 

4:00 South Dakota St / Ohio St  -  SD ST  +7.5   2 stars not a believer in OSU.   This is more of a play on teh Jack Rabbits.  They won the conf  and conf tourney and are  8-3  against spread in their last 11  neutral site games  

4:30  NC State / Seton Hall  - Seton Hall -2  1  star    Was originally leaning  wolfpack  but after further review this is the Pirates  3rd appearanec in danec . After two tough losses   Hedgie thinks the FOUR RETURING SENIORS will get it done today

6:50  Radford / Villanova  - PASS

7:10  Davidson / Kentucky  _ Davidson  +5.5    3 stars   -  Kentucky is very young and caught fire during the SEC tourney.  They now must travel  to Boise where they are unlikley to shoot lights out again (freshman Gabriel hit 7-7 three pointers in the semis)     Pesky Davidson team  has covered  15 of last  19.  Getting good line value here as everyone saw Kty beat  Tenn for the SEC tourney . 

7:20 San Diego St / Houston - PASS

7:25  Stephen F Austin/ Texas Tech -   Stephen F Austin  +11  3 stars  ....perception of Texas Tech overinflated  as they have gone  0-6-1 against spread their last seven

9:20  Alabama / Va Tech  -   Va tech  -2     1 star   Hokies  better balance  with five  double digits scorers.  Hedgie likes  Buzz Williams as the better coach here too 

9:40  Buffalo / Arizona  - PASS

9:50  Montana / Michigan  - Montana  + 11  3 stars    Montana on a nice spread run this yr  18-7-1  ATS and also  9-2 their past 11 games  vs winning teams.   Michigan been off a week and a half .  May take some time to knock  off rust.  The Grizzlies hang around

9:55  St Bonnies / Florida  - St Bonnies  +6  3 stars      Florida lives and dies by the 3 pointer and St Bonnies have two great guards that can match up here in Jaylen Adams and Matt Mobley
