Thursday Night home dogs been tough. Although South Florida has best QB in Grothe they seem to be missing something in chemistry. CInci QB Pike will be gametime decision but redhsirt freshman Chazz Anderson been getting plenty of snaps all week and will be servicable. Cicni's strengths are 11 seniors on defense and a strong kicking game. South Florida always seems to be in a close game . Let's take value in teasing the home team to over a TD and the total score from 50 down to 44 and go over.....

Dow Climbs OVER 9000 today but Hedgie will be going UNDER 62 in tonight's matchup between Houston & Marshall. All indicators point to an UNDER as Marshall has gone under 6-2 their past 8 conference matchups and Houston under 11-8 on the road .

The hedgie is going to have ALOT to say this weekend so stay tuned. but for now there are some immediate plays to take advantage of....
1) Giants +3 2 stars santonio holmes (steelers wr) was declared inactive today. this was a swift response by the steelers to his marijuana possesion. hedgie was already leaning to the giants because of the steelers woes on their offensive line . looks like willie parker did not practice friday so will also be inactive
2) chargers -3 3 stars both teams are realing a bit but the saints are close to unraveling. reggie bush , their best offensive weapon is out for 4 weeks, and the saints need to now rely on deuce mcallister . well, a news story just hit the tape today that deuce violated the nfl steroid policy. this would be an immediate 4 game suspension. hedgie has not confirmed if he will play or not but regardless this will be a distraction for the saints.
both these lines will start moving so if you play the chargers or giants grab those important lines NOW ! over the course of a season a bankroll can be drastically affected by the smallest of line moves so we need to shop them and be discliplined. the reason i write this is because the hedgie constantly gets emails and hears comments like the one he heard today from a supporter we'll call "toughest" . he contacted the hedgie and said "I'M DESPARATE FOR A PICK THIS WEEK, HEDGIE " this is a reminder that we need to use all our tools to take advatage of the lines that are ourt there. last week the hedgie suggested a play on the Rutgers - 1 1/2. by kickoff the line had move to Rutgers - 2 1/2 thegame ended Rutgers 12 U Conn 10
Hopefully, the hedgie followers got the best line. and hnopefuly this week we won't need the -3 or +3 from the chargers or Giants . But it's sure nice to lock it in early and get teh best price while you can....

Don't like the card so much this week. Lots of injuries at Qb which would incline a lean towards Bucs, Steelers, Texans but big favorites just don't cover much in NFL. A hedgie tidbit: last 13 games that there have been DOUBLE DIGIT favorites the favorites against spread are 0-13 ! So be careful !
Bills/Chargers most interesting game. Are chargers spent after last Sunday revenge win vs Pats? Traveling cross country for essentially 10am game? Bills have Mcgee and Schoeble still lingering with injuries.....will pass this game and watch closely for next week angle....good luck!

Hedgie Thursday Night Special
HEDGIE is on a 29-3 star weighted run in the NFL !!!
as the hedgie's buddy Perry D says :

Speaking of wedding's , a big congratulations to another one of hedgie's buddies, Mr Timothy Lucas. This ole Tiger and Global Financier has been following the hedgie for over 10 years and hopefully the hedgie has helped contribute in some way to this wonderful bottle of champagne ....
and speaking of Tiger's let's make a play on the featured college game of the night ! Clemson heads to play at Wake Forest. Wake gave up 282 yds rushing vs Navy in a surprising loss. That does not bode well for Wake as Clemson boasts the best 1-2 RB tandem in the country. Hedgie will back the road DOG here and expects Clemson to bounce back from a bad loss vs Maryland as RB's James Davis & CJ Spiller run all over Wake tonight !
