Bowling continues....

hedgie tries to keep a steady hand while adding to the HOT STREAK !

Bowls: 8-2 weighted

Bowls/NFL: 12-2-3

Today: Temple +4.5 3 stars

motivation on the Owls side today. They want to be here and it's a home game. UCLA was the last team to make a bowl and has ot travel cross country to play....

Miami -3 4 stars

the CANES have a big team speed advantage and will be motivated. Wisconsin has an edge with their rushing attack but Big Ten schools have not done well in bowls and can not see the Badgers coming from behind if they lose a lead. The U wins by 7-10

line is creeping higher and is 3.5 and 4 in some spots. hedgie recommends buying half point down to -3 if it only costs -120

MNF - pass. money in on the vikes but would not be surprised to see Bears fight hard for Lovie on their last home game of the season. Just can't back Cutler.

p.s. hedgie likes comments but poopy mouth trash talking is a turn off. especially from anonymous sources. the administrator is always watching.....hard enough making money vs the books.

Ho Ho Ho

Santa was on the right side of the game Christmas Day bringing the hedgie and it's followers a 4 star gift wrapped.....

Today :

UNC/PITT - PASS all the money in on UNC probably because it's almost a home game near charlotte and the fashion in which Pitt lost it's last couple games.....hedgie passing and focusing on tonight...

UCS/BC - UNDER 45.5 hedgie expects USC to come out very FLAT The Trojans expected to be in a much bigger game and only finished 5th in the PAC 10. However BC has really struggled scoring on the road this season. They only scored 19 at UVA, 14 at Maryland and 16 in a loss at ND. BC will be the more motivated team in this contest. Hedgie expects to see a low scoring game with good defensive efforts. Pete Carroll is one of the best at halftime adjustments so USC may pull away late. And since the early money is on BC taking the line down from 9 to 7 hedgie sees the play as BC +4 in the FIRST HALF and UNDER 45.5 for the game. 2 stars each

Merry Christmas ..

Chargers +3 4 stars

the titans have been hot winning 7 of last 8. vince young is playing well and chris johnson has developed into the most dangerous RB in the NFL. The titans should be able to have success on the chargers running on the edges. HOWEVER, they lost their Emotional Leader in Keith Bullock last week and are getting too much respect from the betting public. They have not covered their last 2 and the Chargers come into town the HOTTEST team in the league. Phillip Rivers is playing the best ball of his career and has NEVER LOST IN DECEMBER. The Chargers have won 9 straight games and have a bit of revenge on their minds too. In December 2007 when the Chargers played the Titans there were some cheap shots and Shawn Merriman hurt his knee. The wrong team is favored here. San Diego still needs a win to secure the #2 seed in the playoffs.Expect max effort from the chargers in an outright win......

Cal -2.5 1 star Cal has been unpredictable but hedgie thinks they'll be motivated enough to end the season on a good note. They have better athletes and will be going against a true freshman QB (Wynn) making only his 5th start...... Cal 34 Utah 24

The Hedgie goes BOWLING

It's time to go BOWLING ! There are 29 bowl games left until Jan 5th which means 58 possible plays for the Hedgie. There is a 5 star in there somewhere so stay tuned ! Picks will be posted throughout the holidays...

Tonight : BYU +3 3 stars BYU is playing in it's 5th straight bowl game in Vegas. Their fans travel well and they WANT to be there. Oregon St has an impressive 4-1 spread record it's last five bowls (hence the small line).BUT the hedgie doesn't think the motivation is there for the beavers. They'd rather be playing in the Rose bowl. BYU wins outright !

Giants -2.5 1 star

Skins are playing their best ball lately covering their last 5 while the Giants have struggled . However, The Hedgie thinks this line is skewed because of the recent trends. A couple weeks back this line would be closer to 6-7 pts an that's just what the Gmen should win by here. Eli Manning and ball protection is the Giant's key to victory. Last week Eli threw for 391 yars and 3 TD's on 27-38 completions with ZERO TURNOVERS. That form should continue as the Ginats should be able to set up play action running at the middle of the skins defense.

KC Chiefs -2 3 stars chiefs last game at home and browns likely have a letdown after beating their rival steelers last week...

Bills +7.5 2 stars pats entire dline decimated. wilfork doubtful. recall bills heartbreaking loss 25-24 week 1. hedgie buying half point from 7 to 7.5 for -120 juice

Seattle -6.5 2 stars seahwaks play well at home. bucs travel cross country and have been losing on the road by double digits

Jets -6.5 - 1 star hedgie buying half point here as well laying -120. when cowboys beat saints last night it eliminated the falcons from playoffs. on't look for much of matt ryan of michael turner here if at all.
