Atlanta -6.5 over Arizona 1 star

The Cardinal Offense coudl use BEanie Wells this game and he will probably not play. HE's listed as

questionable and Coach Whisenthunt admitted that on the Dome turf it's unlikely he'll get much time if at all with that tender knee. The Cards had 7 fumbles last week and Hightower is a part of that problem. Derek Anderson played mostly as a backup in preseason and this team is still out of sync. The falcons will bounce back from a tough road game vs Pitt and play well.

Redskins +3 vs Texans 2 stars

Both the Skins and Texans had big wins last week. The Texans beat their nemesis , the Colts, for only the 2nd time in 17 tries. So a letdown is in order. However, you could argue the Skins are in for a letdown as well. The difference here could be Kyle Shanahan who ran the Texans offense for the past 2 years. He will know how to exploit the Texans defense and should have a few wrinkles to get the Skins offense on track. The Texans have not been a good road favorite under Kubiak in the past as well. So the home team getting a full FG is a solid play.

The hedgie has been traveling this weekend on his sleigh. It was a busy night bringing more gifts for all his followers. Today is like Christmas morning for the hedgie. Please forgive the lack of analysis, but no Apologies for the 4-0 start to the season....

Cleveland Browns +3 2 stars

most boring game on the card today but not for hedgie. Both teams rebuilding but Delhomme actually looked good this preseason and Josh Freeman hurt his thumb and only threw 8 passes. Browns Oline is experienced and will be he difference vs Bucs who start 2 rookies on Dline and have only gone 1-6 under Raheem Morris as a home favorite

Raiders +6 1 star

Raiders are improved and should keep this a close game.

Rams/Cards UNDER 39 2 stars

rams start rookie QB and should give heavy dose of Steven Jackson while Cards still adjusting to an Offense without Warner and Boldin.

Thursday Night Football

There's been some smack talk in the offseason between these two teams. The Vikes outgained the Saints in last years NFC Champ game but turnovers cost them the W. Farve was beat up in that game. Hedgie expects the Vikes to establish the run and protect Farve who was just 2 weeks ago weeding his farm in Mississippi. Darren Sharper won't be playing for the Saints tonight and Chester Taylor left for Chicago in the offseason. Hedgie sees a pretty tight game here with high emotions and alot of hard hitting. Going to stay away from this one ....but leaning Vikes +5 and Under 48.5 for those who must......

The Hedgie will however take a shot tonight.....on the Auburn/Miss St matchup :

Both these teams opened up their offenses and pounded lesser opponents last week. Miss ST 49 Memphis 7 and Auburn 52 Ark St 26 Thus Vegas has opened up this line too high bases on public perception that this will be high scoring. These 2 SEC teams will pound each other in the trenches to a score in the 40's.......

Boise St returns 21 of 22 starters and bring a ton of experience into this game. Last year Kellen Moore thre 39 TDs vs just 3 Ints. His Oline gave up only 5 sacks and they averaged 42.2 pts per game in 2009.

Virginia Tech has only 4 returning defensive starters. This inexperience will be exploited even though it's viewed as a home game for the Hokies and Bud Foster is considered a defensive genius. Tyrod Taylor was one of the most improved Qb's last year and the Hokies get back RB Darren Evans from injury last yr and that 1-2 punch with Ryan Willams will help open up the Hokie offense as well.

The line has moved from Boise St -2.5 with 51 Total to now on gameday

Va Tech -1 and 52 Total.
