DUKE/ Mich St   OVER 149      2 stars  -   Duke likes to run.  Michigan St  is fine running uptempo.   Duke doesn't have many weaknesses but one of them is  defensive rebounding.    This should favor the over and end up in the high 150s

Elite 8 Madness...Hedgie back on track going 2-0 Friday...

Gonzaga is 33-3  and 9-4-1 ATS  its last 14 games vs the Big 12      Texas Tech doesn't have the offense to hang.

      7'6"  Tacko Fall should clog up the middle and force Duke to take a lot of 3 pointers which is not their strength.    First Half is the play  as  the Blue Devils will eventually get  Tacko in foul trouble and pull away....

FRIDAY MADNESS....

1:30pm   Texas Tech  -12  3 stars -  Texas Tech laid an egg in the  Big 12 tourney  but are the best team in the big 12.  They won 9 of their last 10 by large margins and hedgie expects a statement from them today  

2:45pm  Tennessee/Colgate OVER  148.5  3 stars   - Colgate was a top 20   shooting team from  the 3 point range.  The Vols will have no problem running in the game....

4:30pm  Miss St  -6.5   3 stars    -  Miss St  MUCH TOUGHER STRENGTH OF SCHEDULE.  This year they beat  Cincinatti , Wofford and Clemson.  Liberty has a good record but played  a bunch of weak teams.


4:30pm  - Wisconsin  -2    2 stars    The Badgers are always a tough team come tourney time with their style of play.  Oregon is a hot pick but the Badgers played stiffer competition all year and should be able to gut out the Win here.



9:57pm  Va Tech -10     4 stars   -  Hokies  lost to Fl St  in OT  in the  ACC tourney . They are healthy and peaking at the right time.  4year starter Justin Robinson is back from injury . They are   8-3  ATS  last 11 games.  While the Bilikens are only 1-5  ATS  last 6 against the ACC

HEDGIE ALERT : Nevada Cody Martin FLU ... 4 stars FLORIDA ...NOW +2.5

12:10pm  Maryland -3     3 stars  -  too many people are in love with Cinderella  Belmont.  Belmont got a nice win vs Temple and now the oddsmakers give us great value  going against. The Terps are 9-2 ATS  after a loss. 

12:10pm  - LSU  -6.5  2 stars - getting some nice line value on a much more athletic team.  LSU is without their coach  so the money has been pouring in on the Ivy League school.  But Hedgie doesn't think 1 player from Yale  would start for LSU.  In a close game the coach may mater but Hedgie sees LSU's PLAYERS winning this game by double digits.

1pm -  Kansas -6.5     2 stars -   The Jayhawks have not had a typical  year for their program and the public is down on them.  Northeastern becoming a popular  upset pick.  Hedgie will stay with the powerhouse team from the big confernece getting nice  line value.

4:30pm - Marquette  -3   3 stars  -  another great line value  with the public . The public is in love with Ja Morant but the rest of the murray racers  are not  as quality as Marquette.  MU lost 4 of its last 5 so vegas has installed a cheap price. But Hedgie believes in coach WOJO and thinks Marquette will seize this opportunity with new life n the postseason

6:50pm  -  Florida / Nevada UNDER 133.5   2 stars   -  Florida has a smothering Defense and the best                      Nevada will see all season.  Florida is 23-11  UNDER this season.

6:50pm  ODU  +12.5  -  1 star  the gold sheet  mentions that there are rumors that Purdue star Gaurd  Carson is worn down and not 100%.   With a low total set at 126  and double digits points  this makes for a play on the underdog

7pm   - Syracuse  -1.5   1 star    -  always tough to match up against the Orange zone especially come tourney time.

9:50pm  Seton Hall +3   5 Stars  Wrong Team favored here  .  The Pirates are playing their best ball of the season and should have won the Big East tourney  falling to  Villanova  72-74  after some tough calls.  Wofford has impressed many  and G Fletcher Magee is the real deal but  Seton Hall is a tough gritty well coached team that will win outright 

The HEDGIE is ready to MARCH to the betting windows......

The St John's REDSTORM  have 5 players averaging double figures in scoring and will be playing closer to Home at Dayton. The team balance and home crowd are a tournament advantage.     The AZ St  Sundevils  star guard Martin  hurt his groin in the PAC 12 tourney and not many pundits are paying attention to this it seems.   Redstorm Guard PONDS should be the difference tonight. The Redstorm will play hard for their HC Mullins who recently lost his brother to a battle with cancer.
