 Patriots +14.5   2 Stars  -  line simply too inflated.  The Bills have dropped 7 in a row as double digit favorites . The Pats with Bailey Zappe under center have been fine as evidenced by their road win in Denver.

Bears -2.5  2 Stars -  Da Bears have been playing well at home. And although Hedgie like Taylor Heineke at QB for the Falcons he can be turnover prone and the Bears defense excels at takeaways.  

Bucs -2.5  3 Stars - Baker playing well. Bucs hitting their stride and if they win today they make the playoffs.  Hedgie has no faith in Derek Carr leading the Saints .

Air Force comes into Annapolis riding a 6-0 winning streak and Las Vegas has them as a 10-11 point favorite over rival Navy ( 3-3) .  However , Starting QB Zac Larrier is banged up and expected to miss the game.  He's their 2nd leading rusher and an important part of the team.   

   There have been reports that he was seen warming up on the field BUT the Hedgie does not see Zac playing or productive if he tries. 

   The Academies also play each other tight and with the new clock rules it will be very difficult for Air Force to cover a big spread.  Vegas has the total set at 34 and Hedgie leans UNDER in that as well.

The Hedgie was really looking forward to fading the Buffs this week after Nebraska puked on themselves again with 4 turnovers last week.  

  BUT Col State Head Coach Norvell had to open his mouth and say that Deion was being disrespectful to media by wearing his hat and SHADES in interviews.

   SO now PRIME has taken that material to motivate his entire team. Rather than looking ahead to USC & Oregon , Prime gifted his entire team SHADES and they are now all amped up and focused to crush Col State.   The line is still too high for Hedgie.  Rather than taking a live dog with a lot of points the Hedgie will stay disciplined and .....PASS

The Hedgie also wanted to get on Nebraska after last week's turnover debacle. But that line has risen from Nebraska -10. to gameday Nebraska -13.......PASS

Hedgie NCAA Week 2

 

What an incredible week last week for the Colorado Buffaloes and Coach Prime.  They upset TCU as 21 point underdogs and the vegas books had mis rated both Buffalo and more importantly that TCU is just not that good.    

   Before the season started the look ahead lines for this game was Nebraska -9 .  Nebraska was leading Minnesota last week 10-3 and lost 10-13.    Vegas made a huge adjustment and the line for this game is now Colorado -3 vs Nebraska. It's not often you see a 12 point swing in one week with no injuries.  

  Coach Prime has announced his TWO AMMENDMENTS for this week :

1) though shalt NOT WEAR RED

2) though shalt NOT EAT CORN

Nebraska is an improved team with a string run game. This line has adjusted way too much.

NFL WEEK 1 Hedgie's NFL Debut

 

This summer the line opened at Chiefs -7 and 55 Total.  As the summer progressed the line dropped to Chiefs -6.5 & 54.5 and settled in there .  Then this week Travis Kelce hyperextended his knee . He's not expected to play but if he does he will be limited.  The line dropped to Chiefs -4.5 and 54.  

  The Lions are a much improved team and they focused on adding talent to their secondary. But they got a tough scheduling spot heading to Arrowhead Stadium to face the defending SB Champs on grass.  Arrowhead will be rocking and Andy Reid is well known for his gameplans with time to prepare. Mahomes will have plenty of targets and Hedgie suspects  Pacheco may break a long run vs a Lions team that did not tackle well last yr.  Another factor that may favor the OVER is Chiefs DT Chris Jones is holding out and will miss tonight's game. 

  Andy Reid has won 8 straight season openers and 5 of the last 6 by 10 points or more.  Hedgie is going to fade the line move and open up with a 1 star  teaser.

Monday Night NCAA Football

 

This ACC Monday night matchup features two stud QBs in Cade Klubnik and Riley Leonard.  Clemson's defense is deep and very strong so Hedgie leans towards a lower scoring game.   The Duke Blue devils are 10-3 ATS. the past three years at home. So a star is warranted on the Home dog as well.   Clemson 28  Duke 20

   LSU Head Coach Brian Kelly has revenge on his mind.  In his coaching debut for LSU , the Tigers lost 23-24 to Florida State .    Now it's payback for the Tigers . You can bet they've had this game circled for quite some time.  QB Jaylen Daniels was fantastic last year for LSU and now in his 2nd season under Coach Kelly he'll be even more dynamic .    

Since 2016 LSU has been the best revenge team in college football with a 14-5 straight up record and 12-5 against the spread (71%) .

With the news that Cinci will be missing 3 starting Olinemen all the money is on the Bills and the line has been driven from -4.5 to -6 justifiably.   But the Bills pass rush has not been the same since losing Von Miller and Hedgie thinks Joe Cool will show some of that magic that makes him one of the best.

Elijah Mitchell is back for the 49ers and Kyle Shanahan will have a great gameplan to protect rookie QB Purdy.  Expect a 49ers lead and a lot of running.  Hedgie prefers
