NFL CHRISTMAS - A Gift from the Hedgie

 

George Pickens is back for the Steelers and that's a big deal.  If the Steelers win out they win the AFC North . So this game is important and should feel like a playoff game.  The Chiefs have held their last 4 opponents to 19 or fewer points . Mahomes and company are 14-1 but have won most of their games by one score. Also, Chiefs DT Chris Jones is questionable with a calf strain. These teams are playing their 3rd game in 11 days. The Steelers are 4-0 SU and ATS with Russell Wilson under center.

Hedgie's NFL WEEK 14

 

Panthers +14  3 STARS - The Eags are deservedly favorites. But they are also 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games against spread. Bryce Young has played well the past month losing last week to the Bucs 23-26 in OT and keeping it close vs the Chiefs two weeks ago in a 27-30 loss.  There's also a chance the Eagles take the Panthers lightly while looking ahead to The Steelers and Commanders the next 2 weeks.  Take the points !

Dolphins -5.5 (-115)  4 STARS - The Dolphins ahve covered 4 of their last 5 and Tua is playing well. On the other hand the Jets have ruled out RB Breece Hall and Top CB Sauce Gardner.  LB Mosely is also on the IR.  Have the Jets packed it in for the season?  Hedgie thinks so . 

Falcons +6  1 STAR - Kirk Cousins revenge game . Too many points for the Vikes to spot.

Raiders +7 1 STAR ( only if +7 , stay disciplined) - QB Aiden O'Connell played his best half of football last week.  Nice timing to now get the pourous Bucs D

Browns +7 1 STAR ( only if +7) - QB Winston is playing with his usual energy and the team is responding by playing hard.   Rival game with a low total set at 43 is took many points for the Steelers to lay.  Come to think of it 43 is too low.  Russ Wilson is playing well also.

Chargers +4 2 STARS - This Chargers team under Harbaugh knows how to win with good defenese and a strong running game. The Chiefs have been very lucky this season and their formula for winning is usually close games.
