NFL THURSDAY

The Cowboys are hitting their stride and have won 3 straight.  The Saints are the best team in the NFL right now  and the Vegas spread shows it.    Dallas is at home and knows  it must keep  Brees the saints offense off the field if it has a chance to win.   Hedgie thinks a lil closer than  most think   lean  cowboys  , lean  under.....

NFL WEEK 12- TURKEY TEASER SUNDAY - 5 plays

Many Pundits think John Gruden is TANKING the RAIDERS season so he can get rid of some of the high priced contracts and stock the cupboards with his own draft picks.....He's already traded his best defensive player in Mack and his best offensive WR in Cooper.  Whether or not this is true doesn't matter today.  The Raiders are 2-8  have been playing horribly  and make their 2nd road trip. They will start on East Coast time which is 10am for them  and meet a good Ravens Teams whose strengths are good defense and a solid running team.  This doesn't set up well for a Raiders team who will be challenged mentally and physically.  They are banged up  and their best weapons on offense are  Doug Martin RB and Jordy Nelson WR.
  The  Hedgie was hoping to grab Ravens when it opned at -10.5  and buy it down to -10.   The line has run away as EVERYONE is on the Ravens  . IT's -12  right now  and even -13 in some spots as it may go higher.  It's always tough to lay double digits in the NFL in any game  ...BUT  there's always the  TEASER option.  Today  the Hedgie prefer to TEASE THE RAVENS  in a few multiple early games:     Hedgie has some leans on some road dogs  and will use 7 points to tease them all up.   Here we go:

RAVENS -5 &  BROWNS  +8   3 stars  -    Bengals are with out AJ Green. The line has dropped  below -3.  Browns have kept many games close all season   expect the same here if they don't win outright

RAVENS -5 & SEAHAWKS +10  -  seattle's running game has  improved which makes for a good road formula. They are  7-3-2  ATS their last 12 road games.  

RAVENS -5  &  49ers  +9  -  both teams dealing with a lot of adversity.  49ers much better coached and siding with the team that will at the very minimum should get a back door cover  vs a terrible defense


TEASER:  BILLS + 10  and UNDER 44.5   -  if you can catch Bills +3.5 that may be the best play.  Bills off a bye and Jags may be deflated after terrible 4th Q  loss last week


TEASER :  Giants + 11 and OVER 41- all the money in on the Giants as people realize  how decimated Philly 's secondary is.  Big day  for ODB  , Sharp and Barkley ....

Colt McCoy gets the start for the Redskins today.  The last time he started  it was 4 years ago and he beat the Cowboys  IN DALLAS  20-17 in OT.   This game feels like it could set up similiarly.  The Cowboys are coming off  2 straight wins . While the Skins  are off a tough loss at home.   The Line reflects that !   This is a HUGE GAME for both teams and could decide their playoff fate.  The Redskins are  6-1  as an underdog ATS  ths yr  and the value clearly lies with the Skins here ..

LIONS/BEARS :  UNDER 43.5  2 stars

The Bears will be without starting QB  Trubiski so Chase Daniels gets the start.  The Lions will be without  starting RB  K. Johnson. You'll see more of L Blount today and with more runs from big backs the clock will move more consistently.   Daniels is a solid backup and HC Nagy brought him from KC  b/c he knows Nagy's system.  He'll run the offense efficiently and may surprise.  But the Bears succeed by their DEFENSE  and this game has the feel of a low scoring divisional slugfest.  

FALCONS/SAINTS : OVER  60  2 stars

The Saints are averaging 48 points in their last 3 games.  The last time these two teams met they scored 80 points !   Unlike the Eagles last week The falcons Offense can hang and will score.  Both teams in the 30s...

Colorado State +14.5    1 star

Both teams LAST game of the year . It's an intra city battle of Colorado Springs.  Too many points for Air Force to lay in the finale where both teams should be playing hard.

MISSISSIPPI + 13  1 star

Ole Miss needs one more W  to become bowl eligible.  Too many points to spot a hungry home dog in this in state rivalry which stands at  10-10  over the past 20 meetings.

NFL WEEK 11...THERE'S A FIVE STAR ON DECK !!!

The Redskins are 6-3 and lead the NFC East and are a home dog +3 today vs the Texans. This will get a lot of bettors attention as a play on the 'home dog'.    But if you look deeper you'll see the Redskins 6-3  record is not as impressive on paper.  They've been on the lucky side of the turnover battle so far this season.  LAst week was a perfect example and why they are getting points.  They beat  the Tamps Bucs on the road 16-3.  But the Bucs amassed  over 500 yards of offense , had 4 turnovers and 2 missed FGs !!     
  The Texans on the other hand have won 6 straight games and are coming in rested off a bye.  JJ Watt and Clowney should be licking their chops as the Redskins Oline is very banged up.    This all spells trouble for the Skins who have a terrible home field advantage as well.  Expect to see a lot of  JJ Watt jersies in the stands today as texans fans celebrate their defense and a WIN...

Vikings +3   2 stars   - The Bears are decent and getting alot of media attention. Their 5 wins are vs poor teams  as mentioned last week.  The Vikes getting Healthier and RB Cook is back.  

Chargers -7  2 stars   - Joey Bosa back this week  to add some mojo to the surging Chargers.  Bronocs have been a poor road team this yr

Panthers -4   - 1 star    Panthers were embarrassed on National TV last week (thursday), have a couple extra days to prepare and face a lions team who traded its best offensive weapon in Golden Tate and has been declining  ever since...
