Can The Hedgie stay HOT after a 4-0 Wildcard Weekend?
4:30pm Bengals @ Titans
The Bengals have been a great story all year . Joe Burrow is a stud and his rookie star WR Chase has been incredible. But when the playoffs arrive The Hedgie turns more focus on injuries , weather and the trenches. With the new 17 game schedule this season has taken even more of a toll on players bodies. The Bengals are banged up and now must go on the road to face a rested the healthy Titans.
Last week vs the Raiders DT. Larry Ogunobi injured his foot and will not play this week. He started 16 games this year and had 7 sacks. He'll be sorely missed . Also DT Mike Daniels strained a groin. This does not bode well vs the Run Heavy Titans who will be getting Derrick Henry back.
The Titans have not had Henry , Julio Jones and AJ Brown all on the field together very much this year and this week they will. The Titans also have a coaching edge. Mike Vrabel is 8-0 both Straight up and against the spread with extra rest .
The Hedgie expects this line to go higher as kickoff approaches and may close at Titans -4 so get down early and if you can find Titans -3 (-125) thats worth the extra juice.

8:15pm 49ers @ Packers
The Hedgie cashed on the Niners last week. But now the 49ers must travel on short rest to cold Lambeau Field and face the rested Packers. This will be the 49ers 6th road game in 8 weeks. Last Sunday 3 of the star players were banged up vs the Cowboys. Defensive players Bosa & Warner were cleared to play but they are not 100%. QB Jimmy G has been playing with a torn ligament in his right thumb and also sprained his right shoulder vs Dallas.
Hedgie also has some concern with Jimmy G gripping and throwing in the cold. It's supposed to be 9 degrees in Green Bay tonight and Jimmy G has never played a game below 40 degrees in his entire career.
Once again the team that secured home field with a bye week of rest has a huge advantage. QB Rogers leads the best offense in the NFL and when these teams met in week 3 the Packers won 30-28. The total is set at 47 (47.5 in some spots ) and the Hedgie believes is a tad low (leans over) . With the news that Bosa and Warner are playing some 49ers money has come in. Good chance you can find Packers -5 sometime today.

NFL WILDCARD SUNDAY
1pm: Eags @ Bucs
Earlier in the season the Bucs played at the Eags as 8 point favorites and won 28-22 but did not cover. However, The Bucs were in total control of that game up 28-7. Just by the picture here you can notice Brady's Jersey was white and untouched.
Today's game was expecting rain and high winds. NOw as the storm moves through it's mostly just wind. Brady has plenty of experience in the wind and should have no problems. On the other hand this is Jalen Hurts first playoff game and his ability to control passes in the wind is very questionable.
The eagles should be able to move the ball but at the end of the day the Bucs are superior. The Bucs are banged up with some injuries so the line has dropped from -8.5. to -7 BUT the Eagles have not beaten a winning team all season and are 0-6 vs playoff teams.
* also, eagles DE Josh Sweat is a scratch. which is less of a pass rush and benefits Brady

Cowboys are 13-4 ATS this year but have not beaten a playoff team since week 6 when they beat the Pats in OT. The 49ers have a lot of momentum and the better coach . If you wait til kickoff you might be able to get +3.5

The Steelers are lucky to be in the playoffs . These two teams met just a few weeks ago and the Chiefs won 36-10 (without TE Kelce). The Hedgie can't imagine what would be different this go round. Double digits is al ot to lay for Big Ben's final game ever. So the Hedgie prefers a teaser..

NFL WILDCARD WEEKEND. - SATURDAY
When the Bengals played a few weeks ago in Las Vegas they won 32-13 . But the score was a bit misleading as it was 13-6 heading into the 4th quarter. Some sharp bettors are playing the Raiders based on the misleading stats and the fact that the Raiders have won 4 in a row and are coming in hot.
However , The Hedgie thinks this is just a bad spot for the Raiders. They just played their own playoff game vs the Chargers last week and took all of overtime to get the win. The Raiders defense was n the field for 88 plays and 40 minutes . They are an indoor team and now must travel on short rest to play Saturday at Cinci.
The Bengals had a chance to rest some players last week and will be ready. The Raiders have a good pass rush and The Hedgie expects Joe Burrow to make some big plays scrambling with his legs.

A lot of uncertainty with Motivation , Weather, Incentives , Playoff positioning and upcoming Coaching Changes....
1PM - Ravens -3 1 star
wait for the -3 everyone loves steelers with Big Ben's last game. It's his last game for a reason (because his skills have dwindled) The Steelers Left Tackle is out and the Ravens have revenge
1Pm - Bengals +6 1 star
No Joe Burrow or Baker Mayfield. Hedgie thinks Bengals will play well with Brandon Allen and keep it close or maybe win avenging a 41-17 loss earlier in the year to this rival. Browns have a very dysfunctional locker rom so question their motivation
4:15pm - Rams -3 1 star
Rams have lost to the 49ers 4-5 straight now and will be playing for playoff positioning.
8:20Pm Chargers / Raiders OVER 48.5 2 stars
Whoever wins makes the playoffs . Both offenses match up well vs opposing defenses.
