Hedgie coming off a 4-1 teaser Sunday and likes another teaser ....The Rams fired coach Jeff Fisher Sunday after an abysmal loss at home to the falcons. Now they have a short week traveling to an angry rival in the Seahawks. Hedgie questions the front office decision of the Rams timing. It was time for Fisher to go but now they hand the reigns to their special teams coach on the road in the toughest of venues with a rookie QB. The Rams average 11 pts per game. Tease the Seahawks -9.5 and the UNDER 45.5.

The Hedgie remains WHITE HOT and is 7-0 star weighted the past two days and Phillip Rivers is clearly excited about that ....
The Hedgie does not like today's card very much.....but does see some intriguing value on some TEASERS
Redskins +3.5 & OVER 41.5 2 stars - skins offense is still rolling. Jordan Reed should be back and the Eagles have really struggled on defense lately
Vikings +3.5 & UNDER 45.5 1 star - Vikes come in fresher and with the better defense. Look to cash against a struggling Blake Bortles once again
Bills +10 & UNDER 52.5 - 1 star line here is important. Steelers D been playing better lately but Bills have a strong rushing attack are at home and the public has a misperception on the Bills vs their late collapse last weekend at Okland. Good value here
Chargers +7.5 & OVER 42.5 3 stars - looks like the Panthers have mailed it in. Panthers will not have Luke Kuechly again and have given up 35 & 40 pts without their leader on D. Rivers still playing as a top 10 QB will exploit the Panthers D

Last Week Navy's starting QB Will Worth went down with a broken bone in his foot. They also lost co-captain Gulley. This team has played 8 straight weeks and is banged up on the offensive side of the ball. The Army Black Nights defense has been playing well and only allowing 19 ppg this season.

After posting another successful 4-2 Saturday the Hedgie has a FULL SLATE today with a handful of teasers.... Teasers can be a dangerous play and the moto for many gamblers is that the books love it when gamblers tease......HOWEVER , in the nFL the Hedgie likes to pinpoint value and try and cross key numbers which today sets up for nicely.....
Falcons/Chiefs OVER 49.5 2 stars - Falcs are 9-2 OVER this season and have averaged 39 points per game at home in the Wins. The Chiefs are an under team (8-2) but coming off an OT win and back on the road this favors an Over play. Maybe you'll see the speedster Tyreek Hill make a big play in the dome on the turf on Special Teams as well
Saints/Lions OVER 52.5 4 stars - Saints are 10-2 OVER in their last 12 at the superdome. The Saints porous Secondary is exactly what Jim Bob Cooter and Matthew Stafford need to get their offense humming again....
Lions +7 3 stars - Lions are not getting much credit as they are on a 5-1-1 spread run recently.
Bills/Raiders OVER 48.5 2 stars - Raiders are 9-2 OVER this year. Carr is playing well and has alot of weapons . The Bills get Samy Watkins back and should have a few explosive plays of their own

Jags +10.5 & UNDER 46 - Trevor Simien will be out. Paxton gets the start. This game is on the 4th ranked denver defense. Bortles has struggled all season but the jags have also lost 6 of their 7 games by 7 points or less. 1 star
Pats -6.5 & UNDER 50.5 - Rams rookie QB on the road vs a Belechik scheme. Enough said. No Tavon Austin today either. Feels like a LeBlount kinda day.... 2 stars
Eags +8.5 & UNDER 48.5 Both teams have offensive injuries and have struggled recently on offense. Bengals without Green and Bernard really hurts their ability for big plays. This team misses old O Coordinator Hue Jackson more than aything. Eags still an outside shot at a wildcard and after last week's stinker there's great value teasing thru the #s 6,7,8........1 star

THURSDAY NIGHT TEASER
Tonight two key players are missing Carson Palmer QB of the Cards and Bowman the heart and soul of the 49ers D. The popular pick here tonight is betting on the 49ers as the Cards have as short week without their starting QB. BUT THE HEDGIE thinks Bowman is a bigger loss. Palmer has not played well at the start of the season. Drew Stanton replaces him and his fill in as replacement last week as not pretty. However backup QBs dont get snaps or reps on a typical week. This week Stanton will and he'll be better. All in all the Cards are a more talented team. They are in a bad spot but NEED a Win. Expect a run based attack and and lower scoring affair...

MNF - Katrina 10 year Anniversary
Back in 2006 The Saints had not played at their Home in Two seasons due to Hurricane Katrina . They were awarded a Monday Night game vs their divisional rival Falcons who were led by Michael Vick. The Falcons were the superior team on paper then but the emotion from the Saints led them to an emotional victory which began with this blocked punt by Steve Gleason. The Saints went on to win 23-3.
Here we are on the 10 year Anniversary of Katrina and the Saints once again host the Falcons. The Saints are a 3 point favorite and if the Hedgie has learned anything it's not to bet against the Saints at home on a game like this

The Hedgie is OVERLY interested in a new rule this year in the NFL
The owners also voted to amend two rules changes to be implemented on a trial basis for one year only. The Competition Committee and the owners will re-examine these rules after the season and determine if they should be made permanent or further modified.
In 2016:
- A player who is penalized twice in one game for certain types of unsportsmanlike conduct fouls will be disqualified. The types of fouls are:
- Throwing a punch or forearm, or kicking at an opponent, even if no contact is made
- Using abusive, threatening or insulting language or gestures toward opponents, teammates, officials or league representatives
- Using baiting or taunting acts or words that engender ill will between teams.
- The football will be spotted on the 25-yard line after a free kick results in a touchback. Previously, the ball was spotted at the 20-yard line.
The NFL is attempting to reduce head injuries and big collisions on kickoffs and also likes seeing more scoring. This new rule will affect that. Although it's backfired in a way . Some teams are pooching the ball since they believe they can pin teams inside their 25 yard line. This resulted in a 7% increase in kickoff returns in week 1. But the end result will be either more potential big returns or offenses starting on their own 25 yard line.
The Hedgie thinks this will lead to more scoring in general. Obviously vegas is very good in setting it's lines . But vegas just cares about even action. So until the betting public catches up there's an opportunity here. Hedgie has pinpointed 4 games in particular where the matchups should favor high scores today.

Hedgie has a 5 star !
Think the Jets have a lil revenge on their minds after the Bills knocked them out of the playoffs last year !? Motivation is high on both sides as Rex is on the hot seat once again.
So the real key here is that the Bills are BANGED UP. Sammy Watkins is having problems with his surgically repaired foot and Charles Clay is limited as well. It being a short week does not help any injuries . They both vow to play but that doesnt matter much as it will be hard to be productive. That bodes well for and UNDER play but the Hedgie thinks the JETS will bounce back and put it all together tonight in a BIG way

Hedgie FIRST NFL PLAY OF THE SEASON is a TWO STAR
This is Trevor Simien. He takes the reigns of the defending SB Champs and has not throw a pass yet in the NFL. He's from Northwestern and has a strong arm. He may be successful someday in the NFL but TONIGHT HE PLAYS ONE OF THE BEST FRONT SEVENS IN THE NFL.
The Panthers are not talking revenge BUT we all know this is a great opportunity to redeem themselves. In SB 50 they lost Jonathan Stewart early to an ankle and did not have their best WR in Kelvin Benjamin.
Both Defenses are very good and the Hedgie leans Panthers and Under in both. The line is currently Carolina -3 40.5 O/U. Hedgie's favorite teasers are taking 6.5 points when you can take a team from -3 to +3.5. Thats usually -120 juice.
